An iconic piece by well-known Singapore ceramist Iskandar Jalil who was awarded the Cultural Medallion for Visual Arts in 1988. In addition, he has received numerous awards, including Japanese Foreign Minister's Commendation Award in 2014 and was bestowed the ultimate honour, the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette, from the Emperor of Japan, 2015.
This impressive and timeless piece, gentle yet powerful, by Mr Jalil, is donated by a long-time supporter of the Buddhist Fellowship, Prof Choo Chiau Beng.
